This first term is going to be mainly dedicated to the renewable energy sources. Therefore, we are designing wind generators and solar helicopters. We have already agreed the designs in groups.

We are already in the construction process. Although we are facing some difficulties with the saws, we learn quickly and we are enjoying ourselves!
It will get to be a helicopter
2nd October
Some of us are already painting the cab of our future helicopter. Look at this cab! We decided to make the helicopter in different parts, so once we finich with this, we will have to go for the tail boom.
Some houses are almost finished
19th October
Some of our houses are getting finished Now we will beging with the construction and assembly of the wind generator. Look at this house!
Assembly of the solar motor
22nd October
Look at our helicopter. We are progressing fast! Our group finished with the basic structure and we are now trying to place and connect the solar motor. We are eager to see it working!
Mounting the wind generators
23rd October
Once we finished with the houses, we are now mounting the wind generators and their electric circuits. We hope that they will turn the led on!
The blades turn round
1st November
Last week we saw the blades of the helicopters turning round. Everything worked perfectly. Once the mechanism fixed, we will carry on with the landing skids.
The houses are lit
3rd November
With the wind generators running, the houses get the necessary energy to be lit. Now we are tuning up the projects.

We have already finished most of the projects of this term. Look at few groups showing their works.

Defending the projects
1st December
All the groups explained in front of the others the process they followed all along the project, beginning with the compilation of information about renewable sources to the construction of the final project. Of course, they were asked to get out some conclusions of their way of working, so that it is improved the next term.

Different programs were used to create the presentations: Prezi, PowToon, power point... I leave you here few presentations to see how well the students did it.
